SEACAM Housings

The SEACAM Silver range of underwater camera housings is built to the highest standards and is complemented by an extensive range of associated accessories. Together these form an underwater photographic system capable of satisfying even the most demanding of professional underwater photographers.

SEACAM digital camera housings are equipped with a positive Screw/bayonet Port system developed by SEACAM. This is very efficient and seats the sealing 'O' ring very securely indeed. It would be extremely difficult to displace this 'O' ring whilst attaching a port!

These SEACAM Silver housings accept the user interchangeable viewfinders built by SEACAM - these offer a stunning viewing image whilst underwater and are unsurpassed as a compositional viewing aid - see the viewfinder page for more information.

All SEACAM housings are supplied complete with removable handles/grips (now a rigid resin material), zinc anodes, spare 'O' rings (main and port), a tool kit, caps and manual. Options are available which include various flash socket types, leak detectors, additional controls, and remote release connections.

PLEASE NOTE - SEACAM build housings to their customer's specifications. We try to hold a few from stock but there can be a delay whilst a housing is built, so most need to be ordered and there will be a probable wait of minimally 6 weeks before delivery. They are well worth the wait!

As digital cameras are constantly being developed and specifications are changing, it is worth contacting us for the latest information available on housings for the most recently launched cameras.

Currently SEACAM build housings for the following Digital SLR cameras:

Nikon - D1, D1H, D1X, D100, D70, D200 and D2H/D2X/s

Canon - EOS1D, EOS1DS, EOS1DMkII, & EOS1DSMkII & EOS5D (the 1DMkIII will be supported too)
 
FUJI - S2Pro (the Fuji S5Pro is similar to the Nikon D200)

Accessories

Remote releases are readily obtainable for use above water and now SEACAM also produce them for underwater use! These require a connection to be fitted to the housing (using an S6 socket) and then a cable release for use with this socket - lengths can be specified as required. Polecam use is then possible, and there are many other potential uses too.
